Pricing for commissions is available on both a per-word basis and flat-rate.

Commission Types

Writer's Choice: Pay a reduced price and leave the details up to me! This is a great budget option and has a faster turnaround time than a standard commission.

Reduced pricing for Writer's Choice can run between 10-25% discount off the standard pricing depending on the total length of the fic.

This type is not eligible for commissions that include OCs unless you are a repeat client and I am already familiar with your character(s).

You get to choose:

Standard Commission: Pay the standard rates (flat-rate or per-word) and receive a fully customized fic commission! Turnaround tends to be slower, as I prioritize following your commission details as closely as possible.

You can get specific with your request and its details! If you aren't sure what to include when requesting a comm, that's okay! DM or email me and I'll walk you through it.

*Flat-rate slots are limited and may not always be available.
If you request one and a slot is not available at that time, I will inform you and allow you to choose between being wait-listed, paying per-word, or cancelling your comm inquiry.

Fees & Surcharges

*The research fee applies to all commissions that include specialty NSFW content (ie. Hardcore or niche kinks) or culturally-dependent elements (ie. A Russian wedding scene) that need to be handled accurately and respectfully.

Any and all extra fees will be discussed between me and the client prior to invoicing or confirmation. I am transparent about my pricing and fees and will not, under any circumstances, add extra fees to the price after beginning work (with the sole exception of the revision fee addition outlined in the ToS).

Steps to attaining some fancy new fic

Fill out the Comm Form
Fill out the form with the details of your comm request and any applicable references/materials for the commission.

Confirm Commission Info
You'll receive an email or DM (via Twitter) if your commission request is accepted or denied. I will confirm details with you and provide an estimate in the case of acceptance.

Pay the First Half of the Invoice
Once you accept the estimate, I'll send you an invoice via PayPal. Once payment is received, I'll have an outline to you within 2-4 weeks.

Review the Draft
You'll be provided with a draft to review once the outline has been approved or all revisions have been applied. Edits to the piece must be requested at this time. Once you've confirmed the draft (and any applicable edits) to be to your liking, I will send the second half of the invoice.

Complete Payment
Once the second half of the invoice is paid, I will send you the completed commission files. Standard format is PDF only. Other formats are available upon request.

FAQ

What should I prepare for my comm inquiry?

How is payment handled?
All invoices will be sent via PayPal or Stripe.
Invoices are sent with partial payments enabled. While it will display the total due, you will be able to enter a custom amount (like $30 for a $60 comm) and pay in portions.
Payments will be handled in halves. One before I start the draft and the other after the draft has been approved. This helps ensure I get paid and you get the piece you’re commissioning.

What fandoms do you write for? Can I commission a fic for my DnD character/campaign?
Multiple fandoms are available via the list below and more are available via request (ie. JJK, BNHA, Hades, Granblue Fantasy, and other fandoms I am familiar with but not as confident in writing for!). If you aren't sure I write for a fandom you're interested in commissioning a fic for, send me a DM or email! I'm happy to discuss it with you.

DnD and OC-centric commissions are absolutely available, but please be aware that any DnD fic commissions that require me to familiarize myself with both your character and a specific world/setting may incur a research fee!

*Any fandoms/media marked with an asterisk are only accepted for commission work if the request is fully SFW. NSFW content will not be accepted regardless of fandom if it involves characters under the age of 18.

Can I commission you to write fic including LGBTQ+ characters?
Absolutely! If I'm unsure if I can properly write what you request with regards to sexuality, gender, romantic orientation, or any other important character details, I'll make sure to let you know so we can discuss it and see if it's something I'm properly equipped to write.

While I am queer, my experience is not universal and there are a lot of things I am still learning about, both in my personal life and in fiction. Please be patient with me if I have any specific questions for you regarding a character's specific details. It's my priority to make sure you are pleased with the final product!

English isn't my first language. Can you write fics in another language?
Unfortunately, no. I can only write in English. If you would like to have your commission translated by a third party (whether a friend or professional), you are required to inform me so I can issue a non-commercial license for translation.

Modification, translation, misattribution, commercial use, and other acts without a license/written consent are prohibited under my Terms of Service and Terms of Use.

I really liked a fic I commissioned from you before. Can I commission a sequel?
Yes! Returning clients are absolutely welcome to submit a commission request for a sequel, follow-up, or another installment in a series.
I will only write commissions in a series if that is one wherein I was either the original writer or the original writer has given their consent for me to continue their series for that specific client.

Can I get a discount for─
No. Prices are as listed. If I provide an estimate and it's outside of your budget, that's OK! Please respond back and either provide your budget so I can suggest some alternative commissions options (like a different length or comm type) or let me know to cancel your commission slot.

There's no shame in telling someone their prices are outside of your budget! Those of us that accept commissions have been there before and we're just grateful to know whether or not a potential client is ready to start their commission or if they need to cancel.

Can I ask for updates daily?
Please don't. Commission status can be checked via Trello for general updates throughout the commission process and updates will be provided via the medium of your choice (ie. email, DM) whenever I make progress or encounter any delays.

You are absolutely encouraged to poke me for updates if you don't hear anything within 10-14 days from any previous updates, but please don't ask me daily for updates. Please be patient with me.

For Writer's Choice, can I say I really don't want something?
Absolutely! In fact, please do! While Writer's Choice commission slots don't allow as much customization as standard commissions, I always abide by a client's triggers and/or squicks. Your comfort and satisfaction is a priority!

Terms of Service

I reserve the right to cancel or refuse a commission at any time. Payment must be handled within 72 hours of an invoice being sent or your commission will be cancelled (unless you’ve contacted me about a delay).

When the draft is sent, I allow commissioners to mark sections they would like to change. Please note that any major changes (25% or more of the total piece) will incur a flat rate charge of 25% of the total price.

Commissions between 1-2K will be completed within 4-8 weeks. Commissions over 2K may take longer, as turnaround is highly dependent on length, rating (NSFW content takes longer than SFW), and if there are any other clients ahead of you in queue.

If you would like a rush order or need your commission done by a certain date, please note that this will incur an extra charge. Exact pricing will depend on the length of the piece and how quickly you need it done.

Commissions will be posted publicly after the two week exclusivity period is over. In the case that a comm is a gift or the client would prefer it be kept private-only, they need to inform me in their initial request and pay the required private commission fee.

Any commissions cancelled by the client (you) after the outline stage begins will not receive a refund. I reserve the right to cancel commissions at any time for any reason, but will provide a full refund for any commissions I am unable to fulfill.*

*Any commissioners that engage in hateful behavior (including but not limited to hate-speech, racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.) will have their commissions cancelled without refund or right to arbitration.
